Pork Chops Baked in Sour Cream

Pork loin chops 1/2-1" thick
Seasoned flour or bread crumbs

Water

Bay leaf

Vinegar

Sour Cream

Summer or winter savory
Ground cloves (optional but advised)

Cooking oil or lard
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
Combine water, bay leaf, vinegar, sugar, sour cream and savory into a pot and warm until ingredients are fluid and mixed well. Set aside.
Lightly dust pork chops with ground cloves on one side. Not too heavy on the dusting, you don't want to overpower the chop with this flavor.
Dredge pork chops in seasoned flour or bread crumbs.
Lightly brown pork chops in fat/lard.
Place browned pork chops in baking dish.
Pour the warmed water/sour cream mixture in baking dish.
Bake covered for one hour
